Hotel Thalersee Architecture
A roof in the sky: at the height of the upper floor, in front of the guest rooms, the main roof spans the entire facade of the guest rooms. The beams visible from below look like the roof overhangs of traditional local farms. One half of the roof is the house, the other half is the landscape. In the summer sun, the glass facade is completely protected from solar radiation. In this way, complex sun protection for the glass surfaces can be dispensed with.

Ein Dach im Himmel: Auf Höhe des Obergeschosses, den Gästezimmern vorgelagert überspannt das Hauptdach die gesamte Fassadenfront der Gasträume. Die von Unten sichtbaren Balken wirken wie die Dach-Überstände traditioneller lokaler Bauernhöfe. Die eine Hälfte des Dachs ist das Haus, die andere Hälfte die Landschaft. Bei Sommersonne ist die Glasfassade vollständig vor Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt. Auf diese Weise kann auf aufwendigen Sonnenschutz für die Glasflächen verzichtet werden.
